Spring Break

One of the perks of Chris being a teacher is that Chris gets time off for Christmas, summer and spring break. This last week was his spring break and Brayden's too. Since Chris teaches in the same district that Brayden goes to school in, they will always have the same breaks, give or take a day.

It was so nice to have them both home for a week, especially to celebrate Logan's birthday on Tuesday. Logan wanted to go to Target and spend his birthday money, so we did that on the morning of his birthday. He picked a Diego underwater toy, and they have been playing with it every day since, so it was a good choice. Then he chose "chicken and noodles" (Chinese food) for lunch. After Preston's nap, we all went swimming, which was a lot of fun. For dinner we had burritos (one of Logan's favorites) and cake and ice cream.

The weather was kind of icky and cold all week, so we didn't get to do as much outside as we would have liked, but we did make it to the zoo one day.
