This puppy has been mine since I was born (maybe even a little before). My mom gave it to me as my first stuffed animal. When I was a little older, I named him Foof Foof because to me, that is what dogs said. I don't know how he made it through all these years without getting lost or losing an arm or an ear. I used to carry him around by his ear or his arm, so even though I am sure he has been sewn back together a few times, you can still kind of tell he is more worn there more than other places.I've been told that without my Foof Foof I was a total wreck. My parents even took me for professional pictures once and guess who showed up in the picture as well? See.....

Foof foof was even in the hospital with me as I was delivering Brayden, he was just a familiar comfort to me. Now Foof Foof sits on the top of my bed, I see him every day.
I can honestly say I still love that stuffed puppy and I would be heartbroken if something happened to him. I guess you could say he is kind of like my velveteen rabbit.
That is such a cute story!
ReplyDeleteWhat I can't get over is how much your boys look like YOU!!!!!!! All along I thought it was Chris they looked like, but they totally resemble you when you were little! So cute!!! I can't wait to see what your daughter looks like.
