Logan's birthday party

We had Logan's birthday party this weekend. We just invited family, no friends, but still there were 13 people here, including us. I suppose we'll have to start doing friend parties as they get older, but for now it is nice to just have all our family over and celebrate with them.

I made a pink snake cake with spots (gum drops) on it. I put Easter grass all around to make it look like it was laying in the grass. Logan really liked it.....he told me it was exactly what he had pictured. I also decorated the table with little snakes (gummy worms).

His uncle Jeremy got him a guitar for his birthday. Who knows, someday maybe he'll be a star guitar player and we can look back and say "he got his first guitar when he was 4!". Or maybe not, maybe he'll just have fun playing and messing around with it. Either way, it was a cool gift and he has really enjoyed playing it!
Today we went and got Logan a new bike now that he's a "big boy". He was so excited, he was riding it all around Wal-mart and wanted to ride first thing when we got home, even though it was really cold and windy.
