Logan...what can I say?

I just realized that I haven't really posted anything about Logan lately. And since I just had two posts dedicated to Preston and Brayden, I figured I'd better lest Logan read this when he gets older and think he was left out intentionally. Logan has been growing up so fast lately. He will be 4 at the end of the month and I can hardly believe it. He definitely has been more articulate and mature in his attitude and the way he expresses himself lately. Logan is the most sweet and sensitive boy I've met. He really feels badly when he is done something to wrong someone, he will come up to me voluntarily and apologize for not being obedient or for something he did that he got in trouble for. He cares about making everyone feel included and special in our family, he makes time for Preston and even little Madison, when she's here!Logan LOVES snakes. Every time we go to the library, he picks out at least one snake book to bring home. (I really think snakes are disgusting though, so when I read those books, I have to try and read the words without looking at the gross pictures of snakes squeezing mice or shedding their skin.) Just yesterday he decided he wants a snake birthday cake, so we'll see how that turns out. He wants a red snake cake with pink spots.
Sometimes it's hard for Logan since he is the middle child. There is Brayden who does things just enough a little faster and better than him and he can't quite keep up, and then there's Preston, who is younger than him and is just learning all the new things that Logan has been doing for awhile now. I suppose that's just part of being the middle child, but Logan is very good at being the middle child. He is fun-loving, gentle and has a ton of energy. God knew what he was doing when he gave us Logan and I wouldn't trade him for the world!!

  3. Once again I am amazed about how similar our lives are because of our boys.

Oh, that middle child role can be rough sometimes. I'm always trying to make sure I don't leave Caden out and that he's getting attention too, but it takes a conscious effort.

My husband just made a snake meatloaf, with ketchup as blood oozing out and everything. It looked disgusting, but tasted great and the boys loved it of course :)
